WHERE ART IS HEADED
In December of 2018, Tumblr implemented a new policy banning all explicit content & nudity using an automated algorithm designed to flag and remove any suggestive content. In the process, many artists found their works mistakenly removed and themselves without a platform for artistic expression.
This series intends to highlight the absurdity & ultimate futility of censorship in social media and the puritanical effect it could have on art in the future.
